STRENGTHS

1. The Summit is one of the most state of the art, athletic facilities in the state of Michigan. This is due to the fact of a large portion of funding coming from USA Gymnastics, since the Olympic team was based out of their gym.
2. It is one of the only facilities in the area that can hold large events and trade shows and accommodate a large mass of people. Some of these events include Presidential Campaign Rallies, The Deer and Turkey Hunting Expo, The Circus, and The annual Alpacafest.
3. The Junior hockey team the Lansing Wolves out of the NA3HL home rink is The Summit which always draws a large crowd of people for their games.
4. Since there are multiple sports, it is busy all year round.

Weaknesses

1. The management of the facility is very unorganized and does not always utilize great opportunities to make a profit.
2. The competition in East Lansing creates a more professional environment which draws more people to their establishment.

Opportunities

1. With this new system that I have suggested, it will not only bring in more income but it would cause a lot of positive feedback.
2. Bring in more events that are more popular than those just to the area

Threats

1. With the rise of the youth sports in the area, there have been talks to build a world class athletic facility which completely suck all of the business from The Summit.
